Welcome to 4th week of October, 2019.
Thank you Dr. Gilbert for last week’s engaging and entertaining program. I’m confident it helped members to get to know one another better.
Don’t Go to Maple Dale Country Club for this week’s meeting. We’ll be meeting at Robbins Hose Company #1 at 103 S. Governor’s Ave., Dover, DE in beautiful downtown Dover. Parking lot is on the South East side of the building. Look for the sunlight. Thank you to Bill Torbert and Amy Newton for arranging our visit this year.
Dover High Interact met yesterday with 4 Colonial Rotary members present (Jean Dowding, Amy Newton, Ben Parrish & Alex Vaughan) to organize and sort the dictionaries we’ll present to Capital School District 3rd graders soon. Delivery date has not been announced by the District office as yet, but the sign-up sheet is at the check in desk and will be circulated at meetings. Please indicate which school you’d like to serve.
The annual Salvation Amy Bell Ringing is scheduled for the week of December 9th from 6 – 9PM in front of the Rt. 8 Redners. Thanks to our own elf, Mike Malkiewicz, for organizing this annual giving event. The sign-up sheet is at the check in desk and will be circulated at meetings.
Yours In Rotary Service,
Alex Vaughan president
