Welcome to the 2nd week of July, 2019 and our first meeting of the New Rotary Year.
The Board of Directors gathered Wednesday morning for our regular monthly meeting at the Countrie Eatery. There’s more to operating the Dover Colonial Rotary Club than most people would think. I’ll have everything figured out by about next April. (smile)
You are welcome to attend a meeting to learn more about how the club operates and what goes into deciding whom we offer to benefit each year. Just let me know if you’ll be there so we’ll have a seat for you. We order breakfast off their menu.
The quality of our programs each week is part of what sets Colonial Rotary apart from other clubs. If you have an program idea or know of someone you think would bring a topic of interest to our members, please let Ceil Jones or Amy Dotson-Newton know and we’ll invite them. We’d be like to know more about our member’s hobbys and interests too.
This week we’ll welcome Wayne Woodzel who will talk about the local child care program, Mom’s House.
Yours In Rotary Service,
Alex Vaughan president
