Our guest will be Hazel J Showell-Walker, Adjunct Professor/Recruiter at Wilmington University. Hazel leads the University’s College of Education recruiting program, which prepares aspiring teachers for careers as educators.
As you may know, Delaware continues to be challenged by a statewide teacher shortage. More than half of all Delaware educators earned their credentials at Wilmington U, and 12 of the 20 Delaware School District Teachers of the Year for 2020 were Wilmington U graduates; also, 11 of the last 14 Delaware Teachers of the Year hold Wilmington U degrees!
