Deleila Alloui of The Milton Hershey School
The Milton Hershey School is a privately funded boarding school in Hershey, Pennsylvania that provides a free, full-time education to children from low-income or disadvantaged backgrounds.
Founded in 1909 by Milton S. Hershey (yes: THAT Milton Hershey – the chocolate magnate!) and his wife Catherine after they were unable to have children of their own, the school gives underprivileged children stable home, education, and opportunities. The Milton Hershey School is often cited as one of the most successful philanthropic educational institutions in U.S. history.
Deleila Alloui is an alumni of The Milton Hershey School, and now serves as the Mid Atlantic Regional Recruiter for houseparents, who are adult caregivers that live full-time in a student home on campus and function much like a foster parent / residential parent for a group of students.
